Based on the purpose of ¡°An integrated, prosperous and peaceful Africa, driven by its own citizens and representing a dynamic force in global arena¡±, many countries of Africa jointly established the AFRICA UNION. In this background, the African Food and Nutrition Security Day organized and initiated by AFRICA UNION had gone through four years. On Dec. 2, 2011, under the all-out support of the Uganda government, African Food and Nutrition Security Day was held in HOTEL AFRICANA, one four-star hotel in Kampala. As the organizer of the conference, Uganda government sent many staff in top positions of some important departments, including Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Agriculture, as well as some senators of Uganda to attend the meeting. Meanwhile, well-known lawyers who hold the balance of power in the society and some famous professors who came from KAKERERE UNIVERSITY, the most famous university in East Africa, and other famous universities were invited to attend the meeting. As the only health care products company on invitation, GREEN WORLD Uganda Branch also attended this conference.

The theme of the meeting is INVESTING IN INTR-AFRICA TRADE FOR FOOD AND NUTRITION SECURITY. As the VIP of the meeting, government representatives from Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Agriculture, etc. were invited to take the seats of honor, while, our company took the two seats near the entrance. As the invited honored company, our company provided the free testing on the spot, which was also announced by Ministry of Health at the meeting. Many political leaders, public figures and famous doctors came to our booth for testing and consultation after the meeting and then confirmed the results and products. By this opportunity, our company had shown great glamor before each department and given them deep impression.

As the only nutrition and health food company on invitation, we had clearly known our advantages and disadvantages through this meeting. Much still remains to be done to realize our company¡¯s goal and value, but we would persist and never give up. On the premise of strictly complying with the local laws and regulations and local customs, Green World Uganda branch would contribute the whole strength to the health business of Ugandan people and truly achieve ¡°THE HEALTH FOR YOUR FAMILY¡±.
