The three parties got together to explore innovative paths of resource sharing and complementary advantages.
From "Blueberry bond" to multiple win-win: Deepening industry-university-research collaboration
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Zhengfeng Shan, Vice President of Nanjing Agricultural University. First, President Fadi Chen made a speech, in which he recalled the origin of school-enterprise cooperation. On January 17, 2025, during the visit of Prof. Deming Li and her team, she provided blueberry waste samples to Fan Qingsheng Applied Microbiology Laboratory of Nanjing Agricultural University, her alma mater (Fan Qingsheng, the founder of Chinese microbiology, was the tutor of Prof. Deming Li when she was a graduate student). Meanwhile she continued the long-term support for the laboratory - - Prof. Deming Li has donated 3 million yuan for laboratory construction and the establishment of scholarships. The strategic consensus reached by the university and enterprise in the fields of deep processing of agricultural products and research and development of health products is not only a breakthrough in technical cooperation, but also a practice of "inheritance of the spirit of production, university and research". The actual needs of enterprises are the "compass" of university scientific research, Nanjing Agricultural University will provide customized technical support for enterprises in food science and other disciplines.
As a representative of big health industry innovation, Prof. Deming Li, president of Green World International Group, looked forward to using the interdisciplinary research and development strength of universities to transform laboratory results into market competitiveness, and she also proposed that the industrial docking platform built by the government can help enterprises accurately grasp the policy orientation and quickly adjust the strategic layout.
Tripartite cohesion: Creating an innovative consortium
Mr. Yifeng Min, secretary of the Xuanwu District Party Committee, said that the government will strengthen the role of "adhesive" : For science and technology enterprises such as Green World, the government not only provided policy support, but also cooperate with universities to promote the formation of innovation closed loop of "Proposing problem by enterprise, solving problem jointly, and checking problem by market".
