China (From January to February)
Starting on the fifth day of Lunar New Year, while most stayed home, Prof. Deming Li and Mr. Shaobo Liu, Vice General Manager of World (Tianjin) Nutrition & Health Food Co., Ltd., and Marketing Director of Green World China Region, visited across seven cities - Haikou, Nanning, Taiyuan, Shijiazhuang, Shenyang, Baotou, and Beijing - to conduct in-depth market investigation, with the longest spanned mileage of about 1700 km/day. Regardless of tiredness, she insisted on visiting each market and communicating with each frontline partners and staff, listening to their voice. She has set an example with her practical actions for all partners and staff of Green World International Group.
Latin America (March)
Prof. Deming Li then left for Peru, Bolivia, and Ecuador, together with Mr. Peter Li, Vice President of Green World International Group and President of Green World Latin America Region, to conduct inspections on blueberry plantation, quinoa processing facility and farmland resources. The hardships that are unbearable for ordinary people such as long-distance flights and jet lag are never mentioned by her who was always being in high spirits while attending a series of international agricultural summits and celebrations, aiming to deepen the cooperations in South American markets.
Africa (May)
In May, Prof. Deming Li, along with Mr. David L. Zhang, Vice President of Green World International Group and President of Green World African Region, and Mr. Bruce Huang, General Manager of Green World International Cape Town Branch and the French-speaking West African Region, visited Ghana, Togo, Lagos, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, and Senegal. Under scorching sun, they attended the villa ribbon-cutting activity held by local distributor, visited speciality stores, and kindly communicated with local staff. Her shirt was soaked with sweat, and her steps were slightly heavy due to exhaustion, while her eyes was always full of determination - because she knew very well that every bit of persistence was for the mission of globalization of Green World International Group.
Europe (May)
In early May, Prof. Deming Li flew from the United States to North Macedonia. Together with Mr. YanGuo Chen, Vice President of Green World International Group and President of Green World Eurasian Region, and Ms. Xiaohong Wang, General Manager of the EU Branch, she attended the 15th anniversary celebration of North Macedonia Branch. Prof. Deming Li hardly had time for rest because of the continuous flight, but she still stood on the stage full of energy, conveying the determination and vision of Green World International Group to everyone.
China (June)
In June, Prof. Deming Li arrived in Nanjing from West Africa. She visited Nanjing Agricultural University to deepen the research cooperation on blueberry anthocyanins. Despite the unadjusted time difference, she remained fully focused on discussing the development of agricultural modernization with Professor Shen Qirong, the academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and signed the application agreement for the China-Africa joint laboratory with the Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Prof. Deming Li's dedication and perseverance touched every colleague around her.
International Exchange
In April, Prof. Deming Li, along with Professor Jason Zhang, the chief scientist and senior advisor of the Group's Modern Agriculture Division, went to Orlando, USA to attend the global fertilizer exhibition. She also visited Cornell University with Mr. Peter Li, Vice President of Green World International Group and President of Green World Latin American Region. In May, she traveled from North Macedonia to Dubai and participated in the "Dubai Glory Tour" conference of Green World International Group.
Prof. Deming Li 's six-month schedule was packed tightly. Her body had long been overworked, but she never stopped - because in her heart, the mission was more important than anything else.
