On February 26, 2025, Green World International Group and the government of Uganda officially signed the letter of intent for cooperation in the Modern Agricultural Circular Industrial Park. It was signed by Prof. Deming Li, President of Green World International Group, who is at the US headquarters of Green World, and Hon. Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja, Senior Adviser to the President and former Minister of Defence, who is in Uganda, through Intelligent Video Conferencing System. Located in Lukaya, the park is planned to cover an area of 300 acres, relying on the advantages of geographical resources, marking a new stage of cooperation between the two sides in the field of sustainable agriculture.
The signing of the Green World Group Modern Agricultural Circular Industrial Park project marks the group's commitment to the full reuse of agricultural and forestry waste using innovative technology and circular economy concepts. The project is rich in content, covering multiple fields such as comprehensive utilization of agricultural and forestry waste, processing of agricultural and sideline products, wood processing and digital seed bank.
At present, Green World International Group has laid out a number of agricultural projects in Uganda, including sericulture, coffee multi-industry chain development (covering planting, processing and derivative production), as well as organic fertilizer research and development and production, being committed to providing high-quality fertilizer support for local agriculture. At the same time, the Group focuses on providing high-quality seed resources to promote the sustainable development of local agriculture.
The Ugandan government's trust in Green World International Group stems from the group's nearly 20 years of solid work in Africa - from investment expansion, multi-industry chain development to the promotion of organic fertilizer technology, the Group has effectively improved the competitiveness of local agriculture with a sustainable model, bringing health and wealth to the local residents. Green World has established a "development contract" with Africa through nearly two decades of practice! This cooperation is not only a trust endorsement based on past achievements, but also carries Uganda's deep expectations for the group to further exert its technological, capital and market advantages. The circular economy industrial park, as a starting point, will continue to contribute to the process of agricultural modernization and inject long-term momentum into youth employment, industrial upgrading and the national development blueprint.
