On June 16th, 2025, Mr. Bruce Huang, General Manager of Green World International Cape Town Branch and the French-speaking West African Region, met with Hon. Eric Opoku, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Ghana to discuss the potential opportunities for promoting and applying Green World's organic fertilizer products within Ghana's agricultural system.
As a key agricultural producer in West Africa, Ghana has been facing challenges related to food self-sufficiency and remains a net importer of staple grains. During the meeting, Mr. Bruce Huang introduced Green World’s Nutriplant Organic Plus Fertilizer (NOPF), highlighting its proven effectiveness in improving soil quality, boosting crop yields, and advancing ecological agriculture with comprehensive data and field cases. The yield-increasing effect was highly recognized by Hon. Eric Opoku who expressed eager expectation on the launch of the product into the Ghanaian market and hoped that it would contribute significantly to transforming local farming practices and supporting the sustainable development in Ghanaian agriculture.
Hon. Eric Opoku expressed that the Ghanaian government was actively seeking innovative agricultural solutions to improve food self-reliance. He acknowledged that the technical concept of the NOPF is closely aligned with Ghana’s national agricultural priorities. In this context, he immediately scheduled a follow-up meeting, during which relevant government departments and local farm owners will further discuss the feasibility of product rollout and large-scale application.
Strengthening agricultural cooperation is a key strategy for advancing modern agricultural development and ensuring high crop yields and food security. By fostering multi-level and multi-faceted collaboration, we can unlock the potential of regional agriculture, promoting mutual advantages among resources and driving synergy between industries. In the future, Green World International Group is committed to promoting and expanding the application of NOPF in Ghanaian market, contributing to higher yields and sustainable development of agriculture in Ghana..
