On February 13th, 2026, a delegation led by Prof. Li Dajing, Deputy Director of the Institute of Agro-Product Processing at the Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences (JAAS) visited the Green World Nanjing Production Base for in-depth discussions on blueberry deep-processing technologies and the application of functional components. Prof. Deming Li, President of Green World International Group, Mr. Shaobo Liu, President of Green World China Region, and Ms. Qiaoying Liu, Executive Deputy General Manager of Green World Nanjing Production Base, attended and hosted the meeting.

The talks centered on extraction technologies, process optimization, and practical applications in nutritional health products of functional compounds in blueberries, particularly anthocyanins and lutein. Integrating Green World's industrial capabilities with the research expertise of the Institute, both sides explored pathways to enhance added value of blueberry-based products and accelerate the transformation of research achievements into market-ready solutions.

During the meeting, Prof. Li Dajing introduced the Institute’s recent research progress in fruit and vegetable nutrient component analysis, high-efficiency preparation of functional components, and stabilization technologies. She noted that Green World has established a solid foundation in the industrialization of blueberry products, highlighting broad prospects for collaboration in functional raw material development and product formula optimization.

Prof. Deming Li welcomed the delegation and emphasized that blueberries serve as one of the company’s core raw materials. Rich in natural bioactive compounds such as anthocyanins and lutein, blueberries demonstrated significant benefits in antioxidant properties, eye health and anti-aging, which was the main development direction for the company in product upgrade and technology innovation. She expressed hope that leveraging the JAAS’s scientific strengths would accelerate technology transfer and facilitate the development of more high-quality blueberry-based products.
The meeting further clarified key cooperation priorities in blueberry deep-processing and laid a solid foundation for subsequent project implementation. Both sides expressed their commitment to using this exchange as a starting point to deepen collaboration in functional component extraction, nutritional product development, and international agricultural cooperation, jointly advancing the integration of agricultural science and industrial application to a higher level.
