On April 29th and May 1st, 2026, Green World International Uganda branch jointly with Professor Chen Sunlu's team officially launched the "Experimental Study on the Growth Promoting Effect of Green World Nutriplant Organic Plus Fertilizer (GW NOPF) on Coffee Cutting Seedlings" at the Lukaya experimental base in Uganda. Doctoral student Ji Kangwei from Professor Chen Sunlu's team, as well as Ms. Min Yi, the fertilizer technology engineer from Green World Group Nanjing Production Base, participated in this experiment.
This experiment focused on the key steps of coffee cutting seedlings, with the main objective being to evaluate the impact of different concentrations of Green World Nutriplant Organic Plus Fertilizer (GW NOPF) on the survival rate of cutting seedlings. Through systematic comparison, the optimal concentration of root-drenching treatment was selected. At the same time, the experiment also aimed to verify the promoting effect of Green World Nutriplant Organic Plus Fertilizer (GW NOPF) applied through foliar spraying on the growth of seedlings, including indicators such as root growth speed, root biomass, and overall growth performance. This will provide a scientific basis for the application of Green World Nutriplant Organic Plus Fertilizer (GW NOPF) in tea and coffee seedling cultivation.
Lukaya, as an important layout area of the Green World International Agricultural Modernization Cooperation Demonstration Zone in Uganda, enjoys favorable climatic and soil conditions, providing an ideal implementation environment for this experiment. During the experiment, local partners and farmers actively participated, demonstrating that the green agricultural technologies were highly concerned and supported.
The successful launch of this trial marks the official beginning of the series of activities of the "1st Conference, Green World International Biofertilizer and Biostimulant Association (GWIBBA), 2026". As an important preparatory practice for the conference, this trial not only demonstrated the application potential of green biofertilizers in African agriculture, but also laid a solid practical foundation for the upcoming international conference to be held in July 2026.
It is reported that the 1st Conference, Green World International Biofertilizer and Biostimulant Association (GWIBBA), 2026 will bring together researchers, agricultural experts and industry representatives from all over the world to conduct in-depth discussions on the development trends, technological innovations and industrial applications of biofertilizers and biostimulants. The Lukaya trial activity has received strong support from the local government and related institutions, further highlighting the broad prospects for cooperation between China and Uganda in the field of modern agriculture.
This experiment and event were reported on the local Ugandan TV stations NBS and BUKEDDE TV, and the website NILE POST also conducted follow-up reporting.
