On the afternoon of June 23rd, 2026, an Italian delegation of approximately 30 representatives visited the Nanjing National Agricultural High-Tech Industry Demonstration Zone and conducted an on-site inspection of Green World (Lishui) Biotechnological Co., Ltd. The delegation included Mr. Antonio de Caprio, Regional Councillor of Calabria; Ms. Rosa Giacomo, President of the Southern Inland Development Association; Mr. Emilio Sasso, Regional President of the Fashion Sector of the Italian Confederation of Crafts and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises; Mr. Sileo Maria Denisi Vincenzo, Deputy Mayor of Grassano; and other representatives from government and business sectors.
Accompanied by officials from relevant departments of Lishui District and Ms. Qiaoying Liu, Executive Vice General Manager of Green World Nanjing Production Base, the delegation visited the company’s exhibition hall. The hall showcased Green World’s diverse product portfolio in the fields of nutritional supplements, specialty foods, and other health-related products. The company’s staff introduced Green World’s development journey, technological R&D achievements, and global market layouts since its establishment in Baima Food Processing Industrial Park in 2009. As a company equipped with modern GMP production facilities, Green World has developed more than 300 products and exports to over 60 countries and regions worldwide. The highly processed products, including blueberry wine and blueberry biscuits, attracted particular interest from the delegation.
The delegation also tasted a selection of products, including coffee and blueberry chocolate, and spoke highly of the company’s product quality and innovation capabilities.
During the visit, members of the Italian delegation expressed strong interest in Green World’s biotechnology applications, quality management systems, and international market development experience. Both sides engaged in preliminary discussions on topics such as nutritional and health food development and access to European markets. The visit provided a valuable opportunity for exchange and laid a positive foundation for future cooperation between Chinese and Italian enterprises in the field of food biotechnology.
