From June 19th to 21st, 2026, Prof. Deming Li, Chairman of Green World, Ms. Jenna Li, General Manager of Green World (Lishui) Biotechnological Co., Ltd., Mr. Shaobo Liu, President of Green World China region, and Mr. Hao Xu, Deputy Director of the Quality Research and Development Center, went to Shenyang Agricultural University for a three-day trip to conduct in-depth cooperation and exchanges in the blueberry industry. This visit aimed to deepen the cooperation between the university and the enterprise, promote the research and industrial application of blueberry anthocyanins, and contribute to the high-quality development of the Chinese blueberry industry.
During the visit, Prof. Deming Li and her team were accompanied by Professor Bin Li, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shenyang Agricultural University, as well as his research team. They successively visited and inspected the blueberry anthocyanins analysis laboratory, pilot production workshop and blueberry planting base of the university, as well as National “Vegetable Basket” Company , to gain the latest scientific research achievements and industrialization progress in the field of blueberry deep processing of the university.
Shenyang Agricultural University has a profound academic foundation in the field of blueberry research. The team led by Professor Li Bin has been focusing on the nutritional functions of anthocyanins and the stabilization technology since the 1990s, under the guidance of Professor Meng Xianjun. The team successfully solved the bottleneck problems in the development of the international berry processing industry- poor stability of natural active substances-- anthocyanin molecules, and being easily degradable during processing.
During this visit, the two sides had in-depth discussions on topics such as the extraction and purification, functional characteristics research, and industrial application of blueberry anthocyanins. Prof. Deming Li highly praised the outstanding achievements of Shenyang Agricultural University in the field of blueberry anthocyanins research, and expressed that Green World is willing to carry out all-round cooperation with Shenyang Agricultural University in aspects such as blueberry variety selection, refined processing technology, and functional product development, jointly promoting technological innovation and industrial upgrading in the blueberry industry.
President Li Bin stated that Shenyang Agricultural University will fully leverage its research strengths in the fields of berry processing and nutrition, and deepen cooperation with Green World in areas such as achievement transformation, talent cultivation, platform collaboration, to promote the deep integration of industry, academia and research.
This visit marks another significant step in mutual exchanges between the two parties, following the signing of a strategic cooperation framework agreement on June 9 between Nanjing National Agricultural High-Tech Zone and Shenyang Agricultural University, as well as President Li Bin's delegation's research trip to Green World (Lishui) Biotechnological Co., Ltd. It signifies that university-enterprise collaboration has entered a phase of substantive advancement. Both sides agreed to take this visit as an opportunity to establish a long-term cooperative mechanism and jointly contribute to the high-quality development of China's blueberry industry and the Healthy China initiative.
