Richter 8 scales earthquake happened in Wenchuan county, Sichuan province at 14:28, May 12. by 10 a.m. 22, 51,151 persons had perished, 288,431 wounded and 29,328 missed. The extensive affected area and intensity of the earthquake was beyond imagination.
