My name is Stephen Mbogo. I was born in Laikipia County near the prestigious MT Kenya in 1966 to a family of 9, I being the fifth born.

I started schooling when I was old enough in the year 1975 and finished primary school, joined secondary school in the year 1983 till 1986. I later joined high school in the year 1987 to 1988, then joined the prestigious Moi University in Eldoret and graduated with a BSc in Natural Science.

After graduating, I started my teaching career immediately, during which time I was also enrolled in university for a course in nutrition and alternative health care.

I am married to Lucy Miano and we have 4 children who are all grown up and the last one being 17 years old.

I joined Green World in 2008 after realizing that besides the business, there’s a serious need of product knowledge. Having done a course on nutrition and alternative health and being in the teaching profession for years, I easily incorporated my teaching skills set to training on Green World products and doing Green World business.

3 months after joining the company, I resigned from my teaching job where I was a head teacher in a secondary school. I became the main product trainer just 3 months after joining Green World.

Training then became so successful and productive that the manager recommended we establish a training for trainers in Kenya which we later did in Uganda and Tanzania. My areas of interest and passion is training on health and also our Green World fertilizer [NOFP] which I am fond of.

Through Green World, I have attended high level meetings in South Africa and China. Other places visited sponsored by Green World include Dubai, Singapore and have pending trips such as Mauritius and Italy.

I have no regrets in joining Green World as I have experienced great transformation in health, financial freedom and travelling around the world. I have developed very competent trainers and leaders in Green World now being a one star manager proceeding to a two star manager soon.

Outside Green world, I’m involved in family activities and farming. I also enjoy socializing and being a good example to society. I truly believe that commitment, hard work, honesty, selflessness, caring are key qualities to becoming a great leader in Green World business.
