Journey for Love & Glory——Series Report of Green World Group President Dr. Deming Li Visiting Three Countries of African Region in 2023: Kenya Branch Agricultural Investigation Activities

On November 20, 2023, Dr. Deming Li, President of Green World Group, Mr. David L. Zhang, Vice President of Green World Group and President of African Region, and Professor Jason Zhang, Senior Advisor and Chief Scientist of Green World Group from United States Department of Agriculture, Ms. Jenna Li, General Manager of Green World (Lishui) Biotechnological Co., Ltd. and Ms. Rainie Wang, vice director of Green World Business School, came to Kenya Branch, the second stop of this journey for love and glory.
Mr. William Su, general manager of Green World Kenya Branch, together with distributors, came to the airport to welcome the arrival of the leaders. 


At 9:30 a.m. on November 21, 2023, Green World Kenya Organic Fertilizer and Organic Pesticides Seminar was held in the conference room of Safari Park Hotel. The guests present at the meeting included   government officials and academic experts and professors who were respectively Dr. Alex Muvea, Director of Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service, Dr. Wagate from Pest Control Products Board, Dr. Stanley Kimaru, pathologist from Kenyatta University of Kenya, and Dr. Muchemi Peterson, bioengineering expert from Kenyatta University of Kenya, and agronomist Dr. Winnie Kimutai. Mr. William Su, general manager of Green World Kenya Branch, and more than 40 distributor leaders attended the seminar.


At the seminar, Professor Jason Zhang firstly gave an academic explanation on Green World Nutriplant Organic Plus Fertilizer, then introduced some diseases and pests of crops, organic pesticides in the United States and cutting-edge scientific and technological development of modern agriculture in the United States.


Dr. Alex Muvea, Director of Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service, explained the functions of the government and the supervision work for the registration of Green World Nutriplant Organic Plus Fertilizer.

Dr. Wagate from Pest Control Products Board explained the requirements and procedures for registration of pesticide in Kenya.



Dr. Stanley Kimaru, pathologist from Kenyatta University, presented the results of experiments conducted by Green World Nutriplant Organic Plus Fertilizer on various plant growth indicators in Kenya and Tanzania.


Dr. Peterson Muchemi, bioengineering expert from Kenyatta University, and agronomist Dr. Winnie Kimutai, introduced the effects of Green World Nutriplant Organic Plus Fertilizer on the improvement of different crops and soil.

 


The successful holding of Green World Kenya Organic Fertilizer and Organic Pesticide Seminar fully showed that Green World Nutriplant Organic Plus Fertilizer had been highly recognized and praised by Kenyan government and academic circles and made significant contributions to the agricultural development of Kenya, which will help enhance the market promotion of Green World Nutriplant Organic Plus Fertilizer and improve the market share and brand awareness of Green World products.

On the afternoon of November 21, Green World Group President Dr. Deming Li, Green World African Region President Mr. David L.Zhang and Professor Jason Zhang, accompanied by General Manager of Kenya Branch Mr. William Su and senior distributor leader Mr. Stephen Mbogo, visited the farm of former Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta in Ruiru Northland, north of Nairobi. The corn to be harvested became stronger and plumper after applying Green World Nutriplant Organic Plus Fertilizer.


On the morning of November 22, 2023, Green World Group President Dr. Deming Li, Green World African Region President Mr. David L.Zhang and Professor Jason Zhang, together with General Manager of Kenya Branch Mr. William Su and senior distributor leaderJoseph Kemani, came to Naivasha, a city in central Kenya, where there are a large number of farms and flower fields. They visited the pyrethrum planting base. A large number of farmers in Naivasha grow pyrethrum. After applying Green World Nutriplant Organic Plus Fertilizer, the yield and quality of pyrethrum have been improved, and the income of local farmers has been increased. Finally, Green World Group President Dr. Deming Li, Green World African Region President Mr. David L.Zhang and Professor Jason Zhang, planted the tree seedling at the farm as a souvenir.


On the afternoon of November 22, Green World Group President Dr. Deming Li, Green World African Region President Mr. David L.Zhang and Professor Jason Zhang, visited Maaskant Flowers, a Dutch-owned flower farm, which covers an area of 250 acres and exports many 40 feet of containers of flowers to Netherlands every week. This farm has been applying Green World Nutriplant Organic Plus Fertilizer for more than four years, through which the soil fertility of the farm had been greatly improved, the disease resistance of the flowers had been enhanced, and the yield and quality of flowers had also been improved, as well as the income of the farm had been greatly increased.


During the inspection, Green World Group President Dr. Deming Li, Green World African Region President Mr. David L.Zhang and Professor Jason Zhang, together planted the tree seedling that symbolized the evergreen friendship, and the prosperous Green World business. At last, Dr. Deming Li, Mr. David L.Zhang reached the preliminary cooperation intention with the farm. In the future, the farm will be used as the organic planting demonstration base of Green World Group in Kenya to provide a platform to more Green World partners for learning and investigation.


After a few days of inspection, Dr. Deming Li, president of Green World Group, knew that Green World Nutriplant Organic Plus Fertilizer had brought many benefits for the development of organic agriculture in Kenya, and also knew that the agricultural technology and products were urgently needed in the African continent. Her confidence and determination to make a contribution to organic agriculture in Africa had been greatly strengthened. In the future, Green World Group will increase its efforts to develop agricultural products such as organic fertilizers and organic pesticides, strengthen practical cooperation with local agriculture in Africa, and further help the development of organic agriculture in Africa.
