Green World International Group Top Executives Visited Kenya to Strengthen Investment Cooperation

From July 22nd to 25th, 2025, Prof. Deming Li, President of Green World International Group, and Mr. David L. Zhang, Vice President of Green World International Group and President of Green World Africa Region, arrived in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, to conduct a four-day business visit.

Warm Welcome at the Airport

On July 22nd at night, Mr. William Su, General Manager of Green World International Kenya Branch, led over 100 distributor representatives to welcome Prof. Deming Li and Mr. David L. Zhang at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi. The top executives were warmly greeted with bouquets and traditional music and dance performances. Following that, they took group photos in front of the airport, marking that the business visit officially started.

Inspecting Investment Environment to Explore Cooperation Opportunities
On the morning of July 23rd, Prof. Deming Li and Mr. David L. Zhang, accompanied by Mr. William Su, paid an official business visit to the Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest). 

The meeting was highly valued by KenInvest, with Mr. John Mwendwa, CEO of KenInvest, personally leading the reception. Other key officials, including Mr. Guracha Adi, General Manager of Investor Services, Mr. Pius Rotich, General Manager of Investment Promotion, and Ms. Heather Munyao, Manager of Agriculture Investment Manager, also attended the meeting. During the meeting, they and top executives of Green World International Group conducted key discussion on Kenya’s current investment environment such as investment policy framework and preferential tax policy. 

The primary aim of this first formal meeting between the two sides was to establish mutual understanding and build a foundation for future collaboration. At the end of the meeting, Prof. Deming Li, Mr. David L. Zhang, and Mr. John Mwendwa exchanged contact information and commemorative gifts to further improve their friendly relationship. 

Visiting the Special Economic Zones Authority to Plan Regional Development
On the afternoon of July 23rd, the delegation of Green World International Group visited the Special Economic Zones Authority (SEZA) for further business visit. The delegation was warmly received by Dr. Kenneth Chelule, CEO of SEZA, along with other senior officials including Mr. David Kambo, Director of Land and Infrastructure, and Mr. Ibrahim Ahmed Issack, Manager of Licensing. During the meeting, SEZA provided an in-depth overview of Kenya’s SEZ strategy, priority industries, and differentiated investment preferential policies.

On-site Visit to Tatu City Special Economic Zone
On the morning of July 24th, the delegation conducted a field visit to the Tatu City Special Economic Zone (SEZ). They were accompanied throughout the visit by Mr. Anthony, Commissioner of Tatu City SEZ, who provided a detailed presentation on the zone’s development plans, the latest progress of infrastructure, and the preferential policies formulated to attract foreign investment.

A Fruitful Visit and a Promising Outlook
During the business visit, the delegation of Green World International Group held official meetings with government departments such as KenInvest and SEZA, and conducted on-site evaluations of Kenya’s investment environment and policy support, which laid a solid foundation for the future cooperation.
