From September 29th to 30th, 2025, the Asia Hub and CIAERA Annual Meeting was successfully held at IPB University in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event was hosted by IPB University, jointly organized with Nanjing Agricultural University (NAU), Michigan State University (MSU), and the Consortium of Asian Agricultural Education and Research (CIAERA). Prof. Deming Li, President of Green World International Group, was specially invited, accompanied by Mr. Shaobo Liu, President of Green World China Region; Mr. Budiman from Global Education and Training Department; Mr. Chengxi Han, Manager of Green World Indonesia Branch; and Ms. Visan. The delegation lineup reflected the Group’s great importance attached to this prestigious international conference on agricultural science and education.

As a key platform promoting agricultural scientific and technological innovation across Asia, CIAERA was initiated by NAU as a regional international cooperation organization. Its main purpose is to unite agricultural universities, research institutions, and enterprises across Asia and neighboring countries to jointly promote agricultural education, research, and technological innovation. Currently, CIAERA has nearly 60 member institutions from over 20 countries, including China, Thailand, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Uzbekistan.

One of the highlights of this year’s conference was the theme: “Transforming cutting-edge university research into practical productivity.” With 31 years of experience in this field and mature industrial chain layout integrated R&D, production, and sales, as well as the fruitful achievement in industry–university collaboration, Green World International Group stood out as a focal point of the conference.

During the conference, Prof. Deming Li, together with Prof. Zhu Yan, Vice President of NAU, and other scholars, visited IPB University’s Agricultural Technology Park, where they explored smart greenhouses, plant factories, and industrial demonstration zones, gaining a deep understanding of the application scenarios and practical achievement of cutting-edge agricultural technologies.

In the exchange session, Prof. Deming Li held constructive discussions on the future cooperation with several academic leaders, including Dr. Ir. Iskandar, Vice President of IPB University; Dr. Titus O. Awokuse, Associate Provost and Dean of MSU; Prof. Yan Zhu, Vice President of NAU; and Dean Shi from NAU. The discussions centered on agricultural scientific R&D, and technology achievement transfer mechanism, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation. The participants also took group photos to commemorate the occasion.

Prof. Deming Li’s speech  aroused enthusiastic response, and several university representatives expressed their desire for further cooperation with Green World. Under the recommendation of NAU, this exchange marked an excellent beginning for Green World’s expanded research cooperation network across Asia.
