Background

Green World Congo (R.D.C) held Green World Congo (R.D.C) Market Communication Conference on 15th May 2010, with the purpose of expanding new market and promoting the branch to realize 2010 market plan finally. And the Conference summarized the successful experience of producing good results of specialty stores in the past few months and the experience of opening specialty stores in new market and encouraged specialty stores to hold New Distributor Opportunity (NDO) Conference to absorb new distributors. The Conference was hosted by Mr. Mars, Manager of Green World Congo (R.D.C). It also invited Mr. Jerry, Financial Manager of Green World Congo (R.D.C), Mr. Steven, Computation Manager of Green World Congo (R.D.C) and shopkeepers of specialty stores to participate in the Conference.
At 12 o¡¯clock, Green World Congo (R.D.C) Market Communication Conference was started in the branch company on time. First of all, Mr. Mars, Manager of Green World Congo (R.D.C) delivered an opening speech. Mr. Mars handed out the pre-prepared specialty stores¡¯ sales data from October 2009 to April 2010 to the shopkeepers, demanding them actively analyze the reasons of ups and downs of the performance of different specialty stores and try to find corresponding measures to ensure the performance to raise stably. In the Conference, Mr. Mars praised two newly-opened specialty stores (Shop 028 and Shop 030). Although the two shops were just in business for less than four months, they continued to absorb new distributors and their achievements were soaring. They had formed certain scales in their surrounding areas and had certain market influence. Mr. Mars required the specialty stores to communicate with each other and exchange experience frequently and suggested them keep balance of network construction and product sales. The shopkeepers shared their experience of how to encourage their downliners to develop network and how to propagandize product.
Next, Mr. Mars shared with the attendees the strategic plans to exploit new market. He emphasized the ¡°three-step strategy¡±---consolidating the Kinshasa market first, then developing the market of other provinces and finally radiating the market to surrounding countries. Mr. Mars praised the specialty stores which successfully exploited market of other provinces. Congo (R.D.C) has a vast territory, but because of backward traffic facilities and expensive traffic costs, exploiting market of other provinces was a difficulty all the time. Mr. Mars called on other shopkeepers to learn from the shopkeepers who had the abilities to overcome difficulties and exploit new market. Mr. Mars then discussed specialty store propaganda issues with the shopkeepers, encouraged them to make use of the wonderful pictures of the past conferences to make case propaganda and make an example for other old and new distributors.

In order to propagandize Green World in Congo (R.D.C) market, Mr. Mars used the long-term cooperation relationship between Green World and the local media and successfully invited the correspondent & broadcaster of the National TV Station to discuss the feasibility plan to propagandize Green World on TV with the shopkeepers. Meanwhile, the branch company also gave satisfactory answers to the requirement made by people who gave up their Free International Trip awards and wanted to get fund subsidies. Finally, to encourage specialty stores and distributors, Mr. Mars declared the latest promotion plan. After that, the Conference ended successfully.
