As the coming of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Dr. Deming Li, president of Green World Group, personally sent concern and love for the elderly to the local residents’ homes in eastern China at the same time of Green World “Mid-Autumn Social Care” series of activities being carried out in north China.
In order to make people in straitened circumstances and the elderly in gerocomium in Baima Town, Lishui District, Nanjing have a happy and harmony Mid-Autumn Festival, Dr. Deming Li, president of Green World Group, and Ms. Jenna Li, assistant of president of Green World Group, personally sent festival gifts and concern to them.
On Sep. 9th, 2016, accompanied by Mr. Chenglin Zhang, deputy town chief of Baima, Lishui District, Dr. Deming Li, president of Green World Group, came to the low-income residents’ houses with the festival gifts and sent festival blessings to them. In each resident’s house, Dr. Deming Li asked about their daily life, concerned their health conditions and brought them warmth and caring.
Ms. Donglin Feng lived alone in exceptional poverty, weak all the year round. Dr. Deming Li asked about her current condition of seeing a doctor in details and whether there were any subsidies from the government. Town Chief Zhang explained that the country paid medical treatment insurance each year for low-income residents and that part of the hospitalization costs of low-income residents could be applied for reimbursement. Dr. Deming Li asked Ms. Donglin Feng to make sure to take good care of herself and wished her a happy festival. Ms. Donglin Feng was deeply moved and she kept repeating “You are more concerned than my birth parents”.
Ms. Yunxia Liu’s legs were not flexible around the year and she needed to use crutches to walk. Dr. Deming Li not only brought her both greetings and warmth.

Afterwards, Dr. Deming Li, president of Green World Group, and Ms. Jenna Li, assistant of president of Green World Group, came to Pension Service Center of the town and sent blessings and greetings of the festival to the elderly.
Pension Service Center of Baima Town
Mr. Yuanbao Liu, Mayor of Baima, Mr. Renxiang Liu, secretary of the party committee of Baima, Mr. Xiaoyang Yu, director of civil affairs of Baima and Mr. Yuanbin Chen, director of executive office, particularly came to welcome Dr. Deming Li and expressed their thanks to Dr. Deming Li for her greetings of the festival.
Then Dr. Deming Li came to the canteen of the Pension Service Center. The elderly of the center waited in the dining room earlier with smiles on everybody’s faces. Dr. Deming Li genially asked about their health and living conditions. She urged the elderly to take good care of themselves, wished them a happy festival, good health and long longevity. She also gave holiday gifts to their hands personally. Ms. Jenna Li, assistant of president of Green World Group, also sent her greetings and wishes to the elderly present. Each amiable concern and holiday gift deeply warmed the hearts of the elderly.

The activity made the elderly in the town feel the sense of social responsibility of “Love the Elderly, Help the Weak, and Support the Poor” and Green World concept of “Be benevolent to the world and Give Back to the Society”. The elderly had a warm Mid-Autumn Festival under the care of the local government and the enterprise with a strong social responsibility.
