On the afternoon of January 22nd, 2026, Green World International Group donated 5 million RMB to Nanjing Agricultural University (NAU) to establish the Green World International Agriculture Talent Development Fund. The donation ceremony was held at NAU (Binjiang Campus). Prof. Deming Li, President of Green World International Group, Mr. Shaobo Liu, Director of the Board and President of Green World China Region, and Ms. Qiaoying Liu, Executive Deputy Manager of Green World Nanjing Production Base, attended the event. The ceremony was presided over by Ms. Keyan Yao, Director of the NAU Alumni Association Office (Education Development Foundation Office).
At the ceremony, Prof. Fadi Chen, President of Nanjing Agricultural University (NAU), delivered an speech on behalf of the university, expressing sincere appreciation for Green World’s generous donation. He noted that the fund will be dedicated to supporting the cultivation of international agricultural talent and advancing scientific research innovation, further promoting high-level international exchange and cooperation in the agricultural sector and injecting new momentum into the sustainable development of modern agriculture.
Prof. Deming Li stated that agriculture is the foundation of national development, and talent is the core of agricultural modernization. Through this donation, she hoped to help her alma mater build a broader international education platform and cultivate agricultural science and management professionals with global vision, innovative spirit, and strong practical capabilities -- contributing to green agriculture and global food safety.
Prof. Zhengfeng Shan, Vice President of NAU and Chairman of the Education Development Foundation, also extended heartfelt thanks to Prof. Deming Li. He emphasized that, as a distinguished alumna, Prof. Deming Li has consistently supported the university’s development over the years, exemplifying the NAU spirit of “Integrity, Simplicity, Diligence, and Benevolence”. This donation represents not only material support but also a profound and lasting bond with the alma mater.
Mr. Shaobo Liu introduced the company’s development journey and culture. Prof. Deming Li completed her undergraduate studies in Soil and Fertilizer Science at NAU under the mentorship of renowned Chinese microbiologist Prof. Qingsheng Fan. Deeply grateful to her alma mater and mentors, she has previously donated 3.4 million RMB to NAU. With the addition of 5 million RMB contribution this time, total donations from Prof. Deming Li and Green World International Group to the university have now exceeded 8 million RMB -- providing sustained support for scientific research and education, and demonstrating a strong sense of alumni commitment and corporate responsibility.
