On the afternoon of June 17th, 2026, a signing ceremony for industry-academia-research cooperation between Green World and the Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences (JAAS) was held at Green World Nanjing Production Base. The event was attended by Ms. Yan Zhu, President of JAAS; Mr. Weiguo Tu, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Nanjing National Agricultural High-Tech Industry Demonstration Zone and Secretary of the Baima Town Party Committee; Prof. Deming Li, President of Green World International Group; and other distinguished leaders.

At the beginning of the event, the attendees visited the company’s exhibition hall, where guests gained an in-depth understanding of the company’s development history, core business sectors, and technological achievements in natural plant extraction and functional food development. They were also introduced to the company’s blueberry product series and latest R&D initiatives. After that, a discussion session was held, chaired by Ms. Qiaoying Liu, Executive Vice General Manager of Green World Nanjing Production Base.

Prof. Deming Li delivered the opening remarks, extending a warm welcome and sincere appreciation to the leaders from JAAS and Nanjing National Agricultural High-Tech Industry Demonstration Zone. She briefly reviewed the successful cooperation between the two parties over the past year, including joint research projects on amino-acid organic fertilizers, anthocyanins, and lutein esters, which laid a solid foundation for deeper collaboration.

Mr. Weiguo Tu introduced the overall development of Nanjing National Agricultural High-Tech Industry Demonstration Zone and highlighted its strategic advantages in agricultural innovation. He noted that, as a national-level agricultural high-tech demonstration zone, it offers strong policy support, industrial clustering, and an innovation-friendly ecosystem. He expressed hope that this cooperation would inject new momentum into regional agricultural industrial upgrading.

Mr. Weiguo Tu, Director of the Institute of Agro-Product Processing of JAAS, reviewed the progress of previous collaborative projects. He noted that Green World and the Institute of Leisure Agriculture of JAAS had carried out a research project for more than one year on the application of amino-acid organic fertilizers in coffee and tea cultivation, achieving tangible results. In January this year, Green World and the Institute of Agro-Product Processing further launched a joint project focusing on key formulation technologies and new product development involving natural bioactive ingredients such as lutein esters. Through continuous collaboration, both teams have established increasingly effective communication mechanisms and a mature cooperation model, gradually expanding from single-project technical research to multi-disciplinary collaborative innovation, which laid a solid foundation for the deeper integration of industry, academia and research in the future.

Subsequently, JAAS representatives including Mr. Jun Gu, Ms. Lina Zhuang, Mr. Jun Gao, Ms. Xiaoli Liu, and Mr. Zhongyuan Zhang shared their views on the strong alignment of values between the two sides, the solid foundation of cooperation, and the complementary strengths of scientific research and industrial application. They also expressed strong confidence in the upcoming product upgrading project focusing on anthocyanin-targeted intestinal absorption technology.

Ms. Yan Zhu provided an overview of JAAS's current strategic priorities. She noted that the academy has continued to increase investment in agricultural product deep processing, functional food development, and efficient utilization of agricultural resources. JAAS has established multi-level collaborative projects with numerous enterprises and research institutions, and is currently developing a number of cutting-edge technologies related to food processing and production, which have broad application potential across the entire agricultural industrial chain. She expressed her hope that Green World would continue leveraging its market-oriented strengths to form closer synergies with JAAS’s scientific research capabilities, accelerating the commercialization of research achievements. She also looked forward to both sides further expanding cooperation into additional areas and exploring more diversified collaboration models to drive continuous innovation and upgrading of relevant technologies and products so as to achieve even more fruitful results in the integration of agriculture and the health industry.

Following the discussion, the signing ceremony was officially held. Ms. Jenna Li, General Manager of Green World International Group, and Mr. Daoying Wang, Director of the Institute of Agro-Product Processing of JAAS, signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties. The signing was witnessed by Ms. Yan Zhu and Mr. Jun Gu from JAAS; Mr. Weiguo Tu from Nanjing National Agricultural High-Tech Industry Demonstration Zone; and Prof. Deming Li and Mr. Shaobo Liu from Green World.

According to the agreement, both parties will carry out strategic cooperation on the “Technology Development for Upgrading Green World Blueberry Series Products Through Anthocyanin-Targeted Intestinal Absorption.” The two sides have already established a strong cooperative foundation in agricultural product processing, functional ingredient extraction, and international agricultural collaboration.

Following the signing ceremony, all participants gathered for a group photo in the lobby of the production base.
