Kenya Training Series Report of the Green World International Business School-Going to Kericho
2018-08-23 17:20:17

Kericho is known throughout the country as a “Tea Town” in Kenya, with green tea gardens spreading across the open field. On August 21, 2018, staff of Green World Kenya Branch together with the International Business School came here and brought a training seminar about OPP and health products to the vast majority of tea growers and distributors in Kerico. The training was held in a poorly equipped venue located in a tea garden. The projection screen is made by a sheet  temporarily hanging on the curtain rods. The small venue is filled with a variety of chairs.
Near 11 a.m., the leaders of the Kerico area and the nearby distributors and tea growers arrived at the venue. There were so many people attending the training that even the cane chairs in the dining room and the yard were all moved into the venue. Mr. William Su, General Manager of Kenya Branch,  delivered an address to launch the training. After a vivid lecture on health products presented by Ms. Rainie Wang, Executive Dean of Green World International Business School, Mr. Li Mingyu, Dean of the Overseas Branch of Green World International Business School, gave an OPP training seminar to the participants. Despite the tough conditions, the participants kept attentive all the time and recorded.
Mr. Joseph Pesa, the No. 24 specialty store owner and a 7-star distributor, excitedly shared his personal experience from being poverty with the whole family sharing a room and unable to afford the children’s tuition, to now growing up as an outstanding leader in the Green World and winning China Tour Award and Car Award. And he also called for his team to make effort for the goal of achieving at least 20 car awards in the Kericho area next year, far exceeding the  other competing companies. Under his encouragement, 64 people on the scene taking to the stage decided to join the Green World family and changed their fate from today. After watching the video of the China Tour, participants said that Kenya would reach the goal of 200 people to be involved in the China tour in May next year.
This training not only set a record for the number of people joining Green World on the spot in Kenyan tour training, but the speed of upgrade is unprecedented. Of the distributors who newly joined, 5 were upgraded to 3-star or 4-star level then and there. Mr. William Su, General Manager of Kenya Branch, rewarded them at the training place.
Ms. Lucy Miano, a 3-star manager of Kenya’s high-level leaders, and Mr. Mbogo Miano, an 8-star distributor, deliberately came from the capital Nairobi to inspire the leaders who participated in the training. Ms. Lucy Miano’s impassioned motivational speech brought this training to a climax. Mr. Michael O. Christopher, the 8 star distributor of Kericho, personally presided over and partook in the organization of this training.  7-star distributors Mr. Ogwel Collins, Mr. Joseph Pesa, Mr. Raphael Onyango and Ms. Kokwon Dorcus also got involved in the organization of the training and gave vivid sharing and encouragement to the participants.
Kericho's training is one of the most successful examples of this Kenya tour. The successful experience of this training shows that the grassroots market needs the strongest support and is also a flashpoint of Kenya's market vitality.
