On August 22, 2018, staff of Green World Kenya Branch together with the International Business School held a training seminar about OPP and health products in Kisii, an important agricultural town. Mr. William Su, General Manager of Kenya Branch,  delivered an address to launch the training. After a vivid lecture on health products presented by Ms. Rainie Wang, Executive Dean of Green World International Business School, Mr. Li Mingyu, Dean of the Overseas Branch of Green World International Business School, gave an OPP training seminar to the participants. Despite the language barrier that Kiswahili is used in this agricultural area, but everyone listened very carefully and actively participated in the interaction and answered the questions.
Mr. Misheck Thuranira, the No. 20 specialty store owner and a 7-star distributor in Kisii, organized and hosted the training, and shared with the participants his success achieved through the Green World Platform. Mr. Raphael Onyango, a 7-star distributor, deliberately came from Kisumu to inspire local leaders, and had a share in his struggle process of how he had fought his way from being a vendor of slippers to joining the Green World without hesitation and being upgraded to 6-star status within 2 months. He also encouraged everyone to bravely overcome their fears and strive for an opportunity to get out of this small town where their ancestors lived and travel to China in May next year.
Encouraged by the two leaders, 26 of the nearly 100 participants joined the Green World family. After the tea drinking program, a "post-training" meeting was conducted by the leaders of each team.
Specialty stores in Kisii now are at the beginning phase of growth, and store owners are actively signing up for the “Leadership Camp” conference to be taken place in Naivasha on August 26-27. In the near future, both conference organization and the store’s management and training in Kisii will be continuously improved after this tour training.
