On October 22nd, 2025, a group of teachers and students from the Nanjing Agricultural University (NAU) One Health International Association visited the Nanjing Production Base of Green World International Group for a field tour and exchange. This visit, combining theory with practice, offered students an up-close look at how this multinational enterprise puts its core philosophy - “From Nature, Beyond Nature and Back to Nature” - into practical action.
Embarking on a Green Journey: Innovation with a Global Vision
At the opening session, Green World’s senior technical manager introduced the company’s business system centered on Nutriplant Organic Plus Fertilizer (NOPF). Supported by a professional R&D team of 570 researchers, Green World has developed over 350 products, with the market covering 69 countries and regions worldwide, maintaining U.S. FDA certification for nine consecutive years. These make China’s green technology emerge on the global stage.
Prof. Deming Li, President of Green World International Group and an alumna of NAU, personally attended the event and delivered a heartfelt speech: “It’s a great joy to meet the new generation of talents. I hope today’s visit will inspire you to learn, reflect, and grow.” Her sincere words set a warm and inspiring tone for the entire visit.

Immersed in Culture: The Spirit Behind the Enterprise
At the company’s culture hall, students learned about the full range of Green World’s products and its expansive global footprint. However, what moved them most were the display cases filled with gifts from partners around the world, each silently telling stories of friendship and trust between Green World and partners worldwide.
Prof. Deming Li’s entrepreneurial journey—rooted in blueberry research for over four decades—deeply impressed the visitors. Her unwavering belief in “nature as the foundation, and responsibility as the soul” has become the driving force behind the company’s growth, offering students inspiration beyond technical learning.
	Smart Manufacturing: Foundation of Quality
In the 100,000-class cleansing GMP workshop, students witnessed Green World’s intelligent manufacturing. Five fully automated production lines and an Italian sealing line operated seamlessly, achieving full smart production - from raw material processing to final packaging.
When asked about blueberry processing technology, the company’s managers explained:“Both fresh and frozen blueberries are first processed into juice and then into powder. Separate production lines and freshness-locking technology ensure maximum bioactive preservation of blueberry.” The pursuit of product quality gave students a deeper understanding of the modern food industry.
Recycling: Maximizing Value with Zero Waste
At the specialty winery and juice workshop, the “full lifecycle” of blueberries was presented vividly. Raw materials sourced from Green World’s self-owned blueberry farms in Canada are used to produce beverages and frozen fruit for food manufacturing. Even the residue from wine production is transformed into organic fertilizer, returning nutrients to the soil and achieving true “zero-waste” ecological recycling.
Warmth in Every Detail: People-oriented Culture
Beyond production, students also saw Green World’s commitment to employee well-being. The canteen provides nutritious meals sourced from the Group’s green supply chain, while dormitories were equipped with laundry and fitness facilities. By continually collecting staff feedback to improve working and living conditions, Green World truly embodies its core values of “People-oriented and Honesty First”.
Harvest of Knowledge: From Learning to Insight
NAU student Anqi Liu from the Animal Science Department 221 shared:“Witnessing how a tiny blueberry can be transformed into diverse health products through technology made me realize the power of science-driven agriculture. This visit was more than a tour—it was a vivid hands-on lesson.
Another NAU student, Qijia Sun from Animal Science Department 244, added:“Experiencing Green World’s intelligent production and people-oriented culture gave me a deeper understanding of enterprise operations beyond the book. From classroom to industry frontline, it was an eye-opening experience that planted a seed connecting theory with practice in my heart.”
The visit fully demonstrated that Green World’s strength lies not only in its technological innovation and intelligent production, but also in its deep-rooted humanistic culture. For the students, this was not just a journey of learning, but an experience of growth and enlightenment, allowing them to grasp the practical value of their academic knowledge.
In the future, Green World International Group will continue to build platforms for industry, education and research, welcoming more students from universities to exchange and learn. Together, they aim to cultivate excellent talents for the health industry and contribute enduring green power to society.
